Updates

The most current version is v26.24.1. Church Windows support customers are entitled to all current releases included with their support package. Latest version changes are outlined in What's New: v26.24.1 in addition to updates from Prior Versions

Preparation

Before starting your update, follow these important steps to protect your data and ensure a smooth process.

• Back Up Your Data: Always create a backup of your Church Windows database to safeguard your information.

• Close Church Windows: All users must exit the program before the update begins.

• System Requirements: Ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements for the update.

Downloading and Installing Updates

1. Download the Update

   • Visit our website and navigate to the Updates page under Customer Support.

   • Start the download. Once the download completes, locate the file in your Downloads folder and run the file.

2. Install on the Server First

   • Launch the installer on your server machine.

   • Follow the step by step instructions, choosing "Server" as your setup type.

   • Complete the installation and click "Finish."

3. Install on Workstations

   • Repeat the installation process on all workstations that use Church Windows.

   • Choose "Workstation" as the setup type.

   • Ensure all workstations are updated to the same version as the server.
